Transform your garden patio or pathway with Pavestone Grey Classic Porcelain Paving. This budget-friendly option adds a touch of class to any outdoor space with its hard-wearing and slip-resistant surface. Available in three sizes and popular colors, it's the perfect choice for creating steps or raised patios.
Choose between three Classic Porcelain Formats:
1200mm x 600mm x 20mm
900mm x 600mmx 20mm
600mm x 600mm x 20mm
Please note: Porcelain paving is manufactured in batches, this means the colour and texture can vary by the batch. Ensure you mix tiles from each of the packs that are being laid. This means an overall tone will be achieved showing no colour discrepancies. If you lay paving using one pack at a time it can create visible colour differences.
It is also important to keep a note of the batch code of the porcelain, in the event you need more tiles. When laying the paving you will also need a flexible jointing grout, but ensure this does not dry on the surface of the tiles. Some porcelain paving tiles are rectified, rectified tiles ensure precise dimensions for seamless flooring, allowing for closer jointing to create a unified, uninterrupted surface. They must be laid on an MOT Type 1 or GSB aggregate sub-base, or over a geo-textiles covering.
Tiles need to be set on a full wet mortar bed (40mm), using a 5:1 Sharp sand : cement ratio and the tiles should be cut with a circular Porcelain Cutting Blade (no teeth) using hand tools, or a table saw and water dust suppression.
Prior to laying the tiles, ensure you use a priming slurry, which needs to be applied to the underside of each paving tile.
